My Mistake: I like! ;)

Hi everyone,

After years and years of making the same mistake, I learned something tonight.

Wow, I do like!

I'm in charge of a weekly Roundtable meeting and I kept writing: "Let me remind you of our usual Roundtable meeting next Monday night...".
Tonight I was about to send my usual email.
You know what??
I learned it was wrong.
"Next Monday" is the 18th while the 11th is "this Monday".

What's the French expression? For Monday 11, would we say "lundi prochain" or "ce lundi" (I would personally say "lundi prochain" that I translated into "next Monday")?

PS: "learned" is the American past of to learn while "learnt" is the British one.

If it's true the French pattern is "lundi prochain" then "this Monday" is a specificity of English.

That makes me think of another specificity of English in comparison with French.
- in French we consider a plural begins with 2 and we have to write "1,4 mètre", "deux mètres"
- in Am English we've to write 1.4 meters.

PS: I didn't take the example of "1,5 mètre" as the singular could have been explained by "un mètre et demi" and the plural by "one and a half meters".
