Coelacanth, "Living Fossil"

The coelacanth is a creature that scientists thought extinct 65 million years ago at the same time as the dinosaurus.
This species was seen alive in 1938 but there are many articles and reports recently published.

This is the astounding coelacanth ("see-la-kanth"), the fusion of life and time, that following a supposed extinction of 65 million years, head-lined into human consciousness with its discovery alive in 1938. It is important for studies as it is considered as the last "fish" before they left the seas to go to the ground with fins becoming legs.
