My great-nephew posted this on Facebook:

Adam - What on eearrrtthhh can I say?! Brilliant end to a brilliant four years with Diverse Choreography - Performing Arts School and Event Choreography. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing, inspirational, fulfilling, "groovy", cheesy experience working with the coolest group of people! The biggest thanks to everyone who made this year and the past four years the blast that it was. Massive privilege; I will miss you all xxx

Scott Adam you are the most perfect student I think I have ever had, hard working, disciplined, talented and top it if a great guy with cracking personality. I cannot even tell you how sad I am not to be teaching you any more. You are an absolute delight to teach and inspiration to all boys at Diverse. I can't actually believe the advanced professional level you have reached through hard work and dedication it is actually mind blowing!! crazy that someone is good as you is not going professional but you are a very intelligent guy too so wish all the best in Uni as you will succeed at anything you choose to do. Lisa Oh good god! I am now bawling at Scott's message! absolutely spot on scott! Adam you are a pleasure and I can't imagine my contemp class without you?! Note the culture: positive comments, usual emphasis, easy communication b/w teachers and students, open words b/w students even in public, kisses here and there...

My great-nephrew (mother is a New-Zealander, father is French) lives in Dubai and is about to leave for his studies in England (after his sister and brother).
Adam is 18 and I'm amazed by his maturity... true that you cannot practise such passion without being able to understand what responsibility is, and involves.
As you can read, there was a big show to end the year (not a school, just an association). It was a big success.
What's funny is that his sister, 25, prefers horse riding. His brother, 20, went to England to follow French classes, along with dance (same talent if not better).

Months ago, I congratulated their mother for having built such a family: her daughter, 25, is now back to Dubai after law studies in England and the siblings are so happy when they can be together with mom and dad.

There's a huge dance company of a very large range of ages: impressive!

I open another post to point out that through Adam's message and the comments, we can discover many aspects of the British culture.

By the way, Adam is French (no other nationality)!
His mother is very strict and Adam's English language is very good (better than the text of friends above, in which we can see mistakes): at least a French guy who can speak English perfectly!

I'm gutted to be leaving the amazing support base you've created, but all the same incredibly fulfilled to have had such a rich experience along the way Best of luck for the future, and expect way too many visits from me!!!

I don't think I'm wrong in what I'm going to write.

A kid who has an intense individual activity which is their passion, is usually more mature. They will keep a good sense of organization all their life.

I'm thinking of The Little Singers of Paris who are used to preparing their suit-cases, putting on nice clothes. Though there are many people organizing meetings and concerts, they have to think of so many things...
My son was an early tennis player; he was in a special school with other pupils who sang in a choir, or intensively played the piano, or practiced ice skating, etc. They had classes in the mornings only and spent their whole afternoons training and practicing their specialty.
I asked the head of the school worrying about possible lacks; the response was the number of pupils was lower, they had especially trained teachers and mainly, this kind of pupils is more mature; they work faster and better; they understand easily.

I don't know if it's due to physical exercice, the habit of personal responsibilities, the fighting world of competition, adrenaline...
