Did anyone go to England ( or the UK / Republic of Ireland ) ? Where ? Did you appreciate ? Why ?
It would be nice to discover new places in England ( and the UK ! )...
Few weeks ago, I have been there :

Hi Marine EveryoneGlen Affric (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Afraig) is a glen south-west of the village of Cannich in the Highland region of Scotland, some 15 miles (24 km) to the west of Loch Ness. The River Affric runs along its length, passing through Loch Affric and Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin (Loch Benevean).
It used to be part of the lands of the Clan Chisholm. The Battle of Glen Affric took place in 1721.
The area is a Caledonian Forest Reserve, a National Scenic Area and a National Nature Reserve. Often described as the most beautiful glen in Scotland, it contains one of the largest ancient Caledonian pinewoods in Scotland as well as lochs, moorland and mountains.
Around 10 years ago we visited Scotland. I loved it and found people very friendly. Anyway i remember particularly well glen Affric. There, nature is not maintained much. On the contrary it is left wild. That was our impression and we found it gorgeous. Our garden is now like that, wild and not very French

A glen is a narrow and deep mountain valley, esp in Scotland or Ireland

Maybe I should be ashamed that I have never been to Scotland, even if I live not even three hours close by car ( just have seen this on internet. I just knew how long it takes by train
).
