Hello!

As an aviation enthusiast, I went last saturday to Duxford airfield (south of Cambridge, near the M11)
Every year, an airshow is organized in july, famous for its warbirds mass gathering.

This year is celebrated the 70th anniversary of the battle of Britain, that's why a special airshow took place on the 4th & 5th of september.
I've made a photo album:

The quality isn't as good as expected because of the bad lighting condition. But thanks to photoshop, I managed to adjust the colors...
I saw very nice pictures on the web, the photographers were located outside the airfield, on the opposite side of the runway, with the sun
behind them.

I also like to share videos on youtube. As a private pilot, I enjoy to reply to the comments concerning my videos and as you can see I
try to use english as the aeronautical language!

I participate almost every tuesday to the "Calais's Café polyglotte", so I'd be glad to discuss with you about this topic.

Super the photos, but of course what is most interesting is to watch the aircraft shows direct in the sky, I am always impressed to see them on TV on the 14th July in Paris.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you.
It was one of the most interesting airshow I've ever seen.
There are also wonderful collections of restored aircrafts, in the museums. http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/
I think that 1 or 2 days are required to visit those museums.

See you on next tuesday

I think you would be interested to visit the Washington Museum (near the airport). We spent hours in there last June.

I won't be present in the Café polyglotte the next two weeks, but I should be in the beginning of October.
