'Dirt Is Good': Why Kids Need Exposure To Germs

Message  gerardM le Mer 19 Juil - 19:26

Howdy.

As a physician, I'm concerned about the consequences of exaggerated news headlines and misleading reports disguised as ‘science’. New parents can be especially vulnerable, since advice & information is coming at them at every turn.
That’s why I’m pleased to see news that reinforces good old facts; proven by the scientific method and profit agnostic. So go ahead, lick that binky clean if you have to (just make sure baby has those vaccines)!

Should I use antibacterial soaps? How often should I bathe my child? Those are just some of the questions Jack Gilbert, a microbiome scientist, answers in his new book.

Yes I agree that an aseptic and sterile environment is no good for us.  Gradual contact with germs is better. Anyway before eating we should wash our hands
