Hi everyone,

Many anniversaries... maybe due to spring many innovations accur in April, unless I'm becoming nostalgic! Should be the number of years on my shoulders! Wink

April 30, 1993...

Who knew the WWW was created by a Brit in Geneva?
On March 18 2013, Tim, along with Vinton Cerf, Robert Kahn, Louis Pouzin and Marc Andreesen, was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering for "ground-breaking innovation in engineering that has been of global benefit to humanity."

Below are 2 bios:
-> http://www.w3.org/People/Berners-Lee/ by the way, you'll find his addie and phone # Wink

Hi everyone,

ZDnet also published on the subject:
Again, the 1st Web site -> http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/Status.html

2 short comments of my own:
- Tim Berners-Lee worked for the CERN-Centre Européen de la Recherche Nucléaire and April 30, 1993 is the date when they made the technology public
- except the rules regarding the content of web pages which were adapted, most features were designed in this period.
WTG Sir!
