A Gift By Grammarly - Verbs Followed By The Gerund
Hi everyone,
"Grammarly" is a Facebook group that is set to be displayed on my screen.
Hence, I get cartoons, cultural items...
Here's their gift for today:
This is a helpful graphic for all our ESL followers.
These verbs should all be followed by the gerund.
However, let me correct the caption: these verbs must be followed by the gerund without a preposition
(there are other verbs that are followed by a preposition then a "gerund" ie a preposition then the -ing form used as a noun).
