Thank you very much for this quote that I believe is very truthful.
Personally I have the tendency to think that no matter which experience one has to go through it always is a new earning experience. Therefore, you cannot got through any failure or mistakes, you just go through new learning process.
Put in writing like this the concept seems very theoretical, but in life I believe it's just a different set of mind.
And, in a way, this applies to languages. Some could see language mistakes as failures, but they are really, just a way to know what's right !
