American Idioms. "In a stew" is old-fashioned, and "a peach" in this sense is a bit rural. "Corny" is slightly old-fashioned but still used; more common would be "cornball."

I guess one is missing: "vote against..."

Read the list, ask yourself if the preposition is "obvious" (same as in French, orunderstandable due to movement).
Don't learn by heart, just read and remember the ones you often use: are you good? Do you have to fix your reflex?
