Yes it is true that there are numerous examples of people with learning disabilities and mental health disorders doing extraordinary things=>painters, writers, philosophers... Is it better to be a Genius or to be ordinary ?

Till now we don't have this choice but within a few decades, parents will have to decide (in fact I guess that people will be able to be a genius without the madness).

This possibility is scary isn't it ?
belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population, especially by such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits (negative eugenics) or encouraging reproduction by persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits (positive eugenics)

Fortunately Gérard intelligence is not 100 per 100 hereditary and a lot of exceptionally gifted chidren  come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Patrick noticed it many times when he worked as a pediatrician.
