Language Use in the United States: 2011

Hi everyone,

The United States Census Bureau recently published the outcomes of a survey led between 2007 and 2011 about the different languages spoken in the US.

I don't understand either why Spanish is not second.

I guess the response is that the Survey takes all the languages spoken and not the mother language only.
