Shell's window for drilling in the Arctic Ocean officially opened last week.
But Arctic exploitation is NOT inevitable.
Millions of people around the world are standing up to save the Arctic! Just yesterday, activists in cities across the US demanded that President Obama revoke Shell's permits. Meanwhile, 5 Arctic countries just placed a temporary ban on commercial Arctic fishing.
Momentum is building for change.
