Gérard I agree that nowadays language learners have so many different tools at their disposal that they can take away every boring thing and study as if they were in the country.

Re: Language Learning Base -3-
Hi Muriel,
Having many tools is fine but we've to use them properly.
We must not forget to practice every aspect of language learning from listening, to reading, to writing, to speaking...
We've to try to find the conditions of a baby-learner a.nd remember that even a native can begin to lose the language after less than 10 years if they don't practice regularly (I've 2 examples around me).

Intensifiers in English
Intensifiers - words which are used to add force to the meaning of verbs, adjectives or other adverbs are called intensifiers. Intensifiers provide greater depth of meaning for the words they describe.
Words that we commonly use as intensifiers include absolutely, completely, extremely, highly, rather, really, so, too, totally, utterly, very and at all.
Example
I could say: “The glass is full.”
Or I could be much more specific and say:
“The glass is very full.”
“The glass is so full. (Why did you pour so much water?!)”
“The glass is really full. (Be careful carrying it.)”
“The glass is pretty full. (But there’s room for more.)”

Using simple poems to learn grammar
The reasons for using poetry are similar to those for using songs and many activities that you do with songs can be adapted to poetry.
