Re: Score of "A Love Supreme"
Hi Muriel, hi everyone,
Thank you for this 10 minute recording.
When I was a teenager, I had a LP "Miles Davis featuring John Coltrane" (I don't know how I got it - a gift or a purchase) and I was very happy and proud.
Between 1964 and 1968, I attended many jazz concerts in Lyon (I was a regular at 2 concert halls and many musicians came to my school) but I'm not sure I could see him (he died in July 1967). However, I did see Miles Davis.
(I don't remember who it was -fortunately- but on the stage, in Villeurbanne, the head of a band was drunk - shame on him!)

Re: Score of "A Love Supreme"
Hi Muriel,
I needed music to study easily and jazz was the ideal because, most of the time, there're no lyrics (I couldn't listen to the radio which was disturbing me when speaking).
At the time, I had a tape recorder with hundreds of hours of good music. I also enjoyed rock'n'roll but that depended on what I was studying.
