Try to understand cat languages and be nice with them because

Gérard It is true that we can't form a conception of anything without comparing !

Fortunately when we know another language, we can compare and see for ourselves that French is a funny language !

French language... weirder than funnier: a foreigner pointed out that "personne" meant nobody as well as somebody!

Thanks for your words, Gérard ! they are very useful if we want to speak with the Hot Potato accent  associated with the upper class British way of speaking.  

Gérard, I am now puzzled. It's  the Americans or the English who speak with a hot potato in their mouth ?

Many Brits don't pronounce better than some Americans, even English people (worse, try to understand Scots or Welsh speaking with one another).
The picture hereabove concerns British pronunciation.

My American teacher kept telling me the French understood Americans easier.
