Hi everyone,

On the Web site Krystyna gave a link to, there's a series of points that a few members might be interested in.

Here it is -> Top 10 Mysteries of the First Humans
  • Why did we grow large brains?
  • Why do humans walk on two legs?
  • What happened to our hair?
  • Why did our closest relatives go extinct?
  • Is human evolution accelerating?
  • What is the hobbit?
  • Why did modern humanity expand past Africa about 50,000 years ago?
  • Did we have sex with Neanderthals?
  • Who was the first hominid?
  • Where do modern humans come from?

Answers ...

Why did we grow large brains?
Because small ones rattle around in our skulls and give us a bad headache !

Why do humans walk on two legs?
Because the price of one pair of Louboutins is too expensive, let alone to buy two matching pairs !

What happened to our hair?
Because the hairdressers back then used too much bleach in the hair dyes, and our hair fell out so we were obliged to have shorter hairstyles !

:-) :-)

Gérard, how cruel !
But it doesn't deter me from continuing with my very thoughtful responses ...

Why did our closest relatives go extinct?
Because it was easier than having to think of Christmas gifts every year !

Is human evolution accelerating?
Errrr, sais pas !

What is the hobbit?
The distant cousin of the rabbit ?

:-) :-)

And now to finish ...

Why did modern humanity expand past Africa about 50,000 years ago?
Because there were no good shopping centres, so everybody moved to where there was a Walmart !

Did we have sex with Neanderthals?
Hmmm ... this is a loaded question.
There are definitely some men walking around my neighbourhood that look like Neanderthals !!!

Who was the first hominid?
Errr ... Jean Cocteau ?

Where do modern humans come from?
Modern mothers ?

:-) :-)
