Howdy.

News from Science

Archaeologists clean and sort the bones of 26 incomplete skeletons in Germany, uncovering what is suspected to be a Neolithic massacre from an early European farming community. Among some of the remains are smashed shins and skeletons of children under the age of six years old. This discovery suggests that Neolithic farmers weren’t as peaceful as once thought to be. Researchers believe that studying massacres of this type could provide insight into the impact of modern-day violence.
