Untranslatable Words show a lot about the different cultures

It is very interesting and the german word "gemütlich"(comfortable and cozy) comes to my mind. It is unstranslatable. It is "typish Deutsch"

Hi Muriel, hi everyone,
Your link is very interesting.
Beginning to read, I said to myself: "Why isn't there any French word so that I could get an example of what such words are". Then came a French word but I don't understand better and I said to myself: "Why 'dépaysement' doesn't exist in other languages; it would be natural)?
I just notice there's no English word, why?
