On skin edge, really touchy

You feel that the skin of your loved ones is always softer than you? You're not alone, it is the case for the majority of the population. This is why researchers from University College London conducted a serious study on this very sensitive subject. Their conclusions are amazing: it is a sensory illusion created by our brain.

Our brains are amazing then !Psychologists at University College London have found that our brains may encourage this behavior by making other people feel softer to us than they really are

Hi Florent,
In French, as long as there's one object per person, we use a singular ("leur pipe à la bouche")
In English, they use a plural: "their pipes at their mouths".
However, this rule is sometimes forgotten in English.
You'll also notice the English that uses a repetition of "their" while the French forbids it ("leur pipe àleur bouche").
Yes, the rule is not the same in French and in English.Admin a écrit:Do you use plural?MurielB a écrit:

Thanks Gérard for reminding us the rule. I also think that "brain" singular is the organ and "brains"plural is the intelligence.
