Fantasy appeals to us because  it is a world defined by our imagination. researchers have found that school kids who read and identify with Harry Potter display more positive attitudes toward people from disadvantaged groups and people in general. That is a very positive effect. What about us ? Why not dine at Hagwarts' great hall and pretend we are a witch or a wizard ?
