Juan comes up to the Mexican border on his bicycle. He's got two large bags over his shoulders. The guard stops him and says, "What's in the bags?"
"Sand," answered Juan.
The guard says, "We'll just see about that. Get off the bike." The guard detains Juan overnight and has the sand analyzed, only to discover that there is nothing but pure sand in the bags. He releases Juan and lets him cross the border.
A week later, the same thing happens. The guard asks, "What's in the bags?"
"Sand," says Juan.
The guard does his thorough examination and discovers that the bags contain nothing but sand. He gives the sand back to Juan, and Juan crosses the border on his bicycle.
This sequence of events is repeated every week for three years.
Finally, Juan doesn't show up one day and the guard meets him in a Cantina in Mexico.
"Hey Buddy," says the guard, "I know you are smuggling something. It's driving me crazy. It's all I think about... Just between you and me, what are you smuggling?"
Juan sips his beer and says, "Bicycles."

Muriel,

It's a good opportunity to revise all of the menings of the word (main one)... you'll see it's very common and the meaning is not always that rude.

Gérard you mean the word "shit"
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/shit. Here is what I have found.

› [ U ] offensive the solid waste that is released from the bowels of a person or animal:

There's so much dog shit on the pavement.

Synonym
excrement

See also
bullshit
shite

› [ S ] offensive the act of releasing solid waste from the bowels:

to have a shit.

the shits [ plural ] offensive

diarrhoea (= a medical condition in which the contents of the bowels are passed out of the body too often):

Something I ate has given me the shits.

offensive nonsense, or something of low quality:

She talks a load of shit.

offensive an unpleasant person who behaves badly:

The man's a complete shit.

offensive insults, criticism, or unkind or unfair treatment:

Kyle gets a lot of shit from his parents about the way he dresses.

Jackie doesn't take (any) shit from anyone (= does not allow anyone to treat her badly).

US offensive used in negatives to mean "anything":

He doesn't know shit about what's going on.

Two lawyers, Jon and David, head out for their usual 9 holes of golf. Jon offers David a $50 bet. David agrees and they're off.
They do a great game. After the 8th hole, David is ahead by one stroke, but cuts his ball into the rough on the 9th.
"Help me find my ball. Look over there," he says to Jon. After a few minutes, neither of them had any luck.
Since a lost ball carries a four point penalty, David secretly pulls a ball from his pocket and tosses it to the ground. "I've found my ball!" he announces.
"After all of the years we've been partners and playing together," Jon says, "you'd cheat me out of a lousy 50 bucks?"
"What do you mean, cheat? I found my ball sitting right there!"
"And you're a liar, too!" Jon says. "I've been standing on your ball for the past five minutes!"

Note the very common "go do" - nothing between "go" and "do", neither "to" nor "and".
As "go" is a frequent word, people tend to simplify... "go to do", "go and do" are correct but "go church" is an expression ie no preposition.
Of course "go" is not the only verb without "to" before another verb, eg help.

Thanks Gérard, "Go do" was not familiar to me.

It wasn't to me either but "go+verb-without-to" is possible whatever the verb: go work, go sing, go piddle, etc.

A big city lawyer went duck hunting in rural North Wairarapa. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.
The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."
The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."
The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in New Zealand and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in North Wairarapa. We settle small disagreements like this with the 'Three Kick Rule.'"
The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Three Kick Rule'?"
The Farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, I get to go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until someone gives up."
The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.
The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney.
His first kick planted the toe of his heavy steel toed work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees!
His second kick to the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing from his mouth.
The lawyer was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end, sent him face-first into a fresh cow pie.
The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and remaining strength and very slowly managed to get to his feet. Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "Okay, you old fart. Now it's my turn."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck."
